Onetangi is the last point of call for people before heading out into the Eastern End of Waiheke. Comprising of a couple of vineyards,an olive grove, a Shell Station, Liquor store and takeaways, Onetangi is also home to Waiheke's largest beach, [[Onetangi Beach]] and is a well frequented spot in the summer months.

The Onetangi Residents Association hall sits at the foot of Pohutukawa Reserve, owned by the association.

[[St Andrews by the Sea]] is an Anglican Church on Eden Terrace. Its garden cross was carved by [[Paora Te Rangiuia]].

The Onetangi waterfront has two licensed bars and restaurants, currently (2007) trading as [[Charley Farley's]] and [[Cat's Tango]].

Also on the waterfront is the [[Onetangi Beach Apartments]], a group of individually-owned flats, also available for rent to the public.
A kilometre from the beach is Te Kahu Olive Grove which produces one of Waiheke Island's award winning extra virgin olive oils.
