A reserve in Rocky Bay that is undersold by it's entrances. Though it might not look like much from the road, it is in fact one of Waiheke's best, with fantastic Nikaus at the Glenbrook Road entrance (including a fallen one by the pedestrian bridge that has grown back up in a 'U' shape. Worth watching out for). Halfway through the track emerges at a rocky lookout/pa site that gives fantastic views out across to Auckland.
Since early 2010 you can now enter the reserve through an entrance on O'Brien Road, around 100m from the bus turnaround. It gives a 'front door' for the reserve and takes walkers straight up to the view point/historic site. This section was bought by Auckland City using reserve contributions from land development on the island.
