Down the stairs next to the Wine Center in Oneroa is the Sand Bar. Often open when other establishments have closed up shop for the winter the Sand Bar is a classy joint that was voted one of the top Auckland bars by Metro magazine in 2007. Soft lighting, a gas fire, and a deck outside overlooking Oneroa Beach ... can't be all that bad.
