While most podcasting can be done with very little equipment the project does own some recording equipment that can be checked out by members of the community to help record podcasts. This equipment is kept on the Waiheke Radio premises. Please email podcasting@waihekeradio.org.nz for more information on how to borrow this equipment.
Waiheke Radio as a sponsor of this project is in the process of establishing a slot for the broadcast of quality podcasts that emerge as a result of this project. More on that as it develops.
Archive.org was founded to build an Internet library, with the purpose of offering permanent access for researchers, historians, and scholars to historical collections that exist in digital format. It is a great place to upload and store podcasts of a historical or heritage nature. Waiheke Radio has a number of recordings available already on Archive.org, see here.
If you do use Archive.org for the Waiheke Podcasting Project it is important that you use this as a tag: waiheke podcasting project. This way, in time, your podcast will automatically appear on the front page of our site.
