It has in past years also been part of Auckland City's Music In the Parks summer concerts, The Little Day In takes its name from a play on the "Big Day Out". LDI is usually held in the [[Onetangi Sports Park]].

James, Kipper, Koko Risque, Muthrtung, Native Sons, Noise Control, Number Nothing, Patience Scarles, Radio Rebelde, Soul Sista Aotearoa, The Terrestrials, Whiskey Mac, and was MC'd by James Kara and Billy Fluid.
