Splash FM broadcasts under the Low Power FM general user license and began transmitting in November 2007 on 88.2. A frequency shift to 88.1 was to make way for [[Waiheke Radio]] to use 88.3 from Seaview Rd in February 2008.

Splash FM's music programme is a CHR (contemporary hit radio) format. Other features include news from INN, Are We Alone from the Seti Institute, The Goon Show and teh Succhini Brothers
