Charlie Farley's opened on 1 June 2007 and is situated at number 21 The Strand, on the beachfront at Onetangi. Once the old Onetangi Pub, it has been re-built and decorated and showcases photographs of how Onetangi Beach used to look, dating back to the early 1930s. The establishment often has live music on weekend nights and plays host to a number of local Waiheke musicians and bands as well as travelling acts.
Regular events at Charlie's include:
- Thirsty Thursdays - Selected $4 handles and $5 wines from 4:00pm to 7:00pm and free nibbles.
- Breakfast Buffet By The Beach. Saturday and Sunday 8:30am to 11:00am.
