Te Whau Peninsula

Greg Treadwell

The Te Whau Peninsula is the peninsula that makes the eastern heads of Putiki Bay. Westwards lies Huruhi Bay while a few kilometres down the coast is Rocky Bay. Developed into exclusive lifestyle blocks in the 1990s, Te Whau Peninsula now boasts some of the island's premium properties, which include the world-famous vineyard cafe at Te Whau Vineyard and cafe and upmarket boutique lodging at Te Whau Lodge.
