Chris Orange is a Waiheke musician with a long and varied musical history. He has played in classic punk and post-punk outfits the Terrorways and The Features, a political protest marching band, a Wellington free jazz band Earth Telephone, country swing band Arch Hill Tune Rustlers, and played jazz and improvised jazz in Japan. He is currently a member of island four piece Chocolate Fish. He is also a composer/singer-songwriter, and wrote and directed music for short NZ film The Last Surrealist.
Chris Orange, performed live-to-air on Beach Radio as part of the NZ Music Month series Live On The Beach in May 2007. He also played doublebass in the pit orchestra for the recent Choral Society's King and I, accompanying his daughter, Dominique who was dancing in the show.
