The Little Day In is a fundraising event for local organisation The Friends of the Street. It has in past years also been part of Auckland City's Music In the Parks summer concerts, The Little Day In takes its name from a play on the "Big Day Out". LDI is usually held in the Onetangi Sports Park.

In 2010 the seventh annual Little Day In disassociated itself from Auckland City after the previous year only having been provided with $500 from Auckland City. The event had traditionally been a fundraiser for the community group. Friends of the Street relocated the event to the grounds outside of The Woolshed at the Dirt Track.

The lineup of all Waiheke acts for 2010 was: Arli Liberman, Andy Blue, DJ R.G. Bargy, Feigned Innocence, Inner Groove Percussion, Jay B. James, Kipper, Koko Risque, Muthrtung, Native Sons, Noise Control, Number Nothing, Patience Scarles, Radio Rebelde, Soul Sista Aotearoa, The Terrestrials, Whiskey Mac, and was MC'd by James Kara and Billy Fluid.
