Waiheke political history

Anyone want to write/contribute to a political history of Waiheke, the workings of the former County Council, amalgamation and further issues?

I can suggest a few for sure, Dr Vexation , Tihare , Scuttlefish , and of course a man who is an absolute passionate falamin expert on teh topic, the venerable Hackademic, and of course for a spot of wiki discourse the guy would be Countrymike. Bruced 21:22, 18 September 2007 (NZST)
