Can we use pics off Wikipedia? Not link to - copy and use. hackademic
- I don't see why not, so long as those pictures are licensed under CC-SA. All the pictures on commons should have that license or a similar or more liberal one (I license all mine as public domain). When importing pictures under other licenses, we should duplicate that license here, and for all such pictures, we should credit the commons page and author on the image page.
- There are pictures on English Wikipedia however which are under a claim of fair use, and we shouldn't import those.
