Fullers purchased the Wanderer II in late 2007 from World Heritage Cruises in Strahan Tasmania for NZ$2m. In 1999 the Wanderer II replaced the original single hull Tamar River ferry the Wanderer. Later in 1999 the Wanderer III arrived but was replaced by the AU$2.8m Adventurer The Adventurer was later sold to Fullers in 2007 for NZ$3m. Fullers have removed the II and the ferry is now simply known as the Wanderer.
