The Wanderer is a fast ferry owned by Fullers Auckland and used on mostly as a Tourist and Sightseeing boat on the Harbour Cruise and Rangitoto Island Ferry. She is also sometimes used on the Northcote/Birkenhead service. Wanderer is rarely seen on the ferry service to Waiheke Island, however if Fullers has limited capacity then Wanderer is used as backup. The Wanderer is a fast ferry owned by Fullers Auckland and used on mostly as a Tourist and Sightseeing boat on the Harbour Cruise and Rangitoto Island Ferry. History
Fullers purchased the Wanderer II in late 2007 from World Heritage Cruises in Strahan Tasmania for NZ$2m. She was purchased a year after Fullers bought sister ship Adventurer from World Heritage Cruises. Along with Adventurer she provided much needed extra capacity on the Waiheke Island and North Shore ferry services. Fullers have removed the II and the ferry is now simply known as the Wanderer.
