Harry Goodwin, bookseller and artist, lived for many on Waiheke. His shop, Harry's Books, was an institution at Artworks, a small warren of second-hand books floor to pretty much ceiling. He sold the shop to Mike [?] who ran it for a couple of years until it closed.
Harry's oil paintings hang on the walls of many Waiheke homes. His distinctive techniques include bold brushtrokes in oil and plenty of humour.
