Junk to Funk is Waiheke's annual fashion show that makes recycling its centrepiece theme. Mostly the work of children, the show draws huge community support as it reinforces the "recuce, reuse, recycle" message.
The 2007 show was run over two nights. The first night was streamed live by E-cast on Waihekepedia. Here's the Gulf News story about its success.
