+ | I'm annoyed by a Chinese-language spammer who is creating pages here. I assume you can see the underlying IP addresses of contributors - what Wikipedians call the checkuser privilege. Can you put a range block on this spammer? If they are not from New Zealand, then you could use quite a wide range if necessary as there are unlikely to be many genuine contributors from most other countries. Spam
I'm annoyed by a Chinese-language spammer who is creating pages here. I assume you can see the underlying IP addresses of contributors - what Wikipedians call the checkuser privilege. Can you put a range block on this spammer? If they are not from New Zealand, then you could use quite a wide range if necessary as there are unlikely to be many genuine contributors from most other countries.
