Waiheke Shipping runs a daily passenger and vehicular service from Half Moon Bay to Waiheke Island. Waiheke Shipping was founded by Brett Subritzky formerly of Subritzky Shipping.
Waiheke Shipping operate the H. A. Subritzky and the Spirit of Waiheke which service Waiheke Island, Port Kennedy and the Tabuadua these vessels perform a wide range of contracting work around the Hauraki Gulf.
At the end of October 2008 Maritime New Zealand has suspended the operating certificate on all three vessels operated by Waiheke Shipping. 3 News Story
