The Waiheke Island Toy Library operates out of the Old Surfdale Post Office on Wednesday evenings and Saturday and Sunday mornings. The Toy Library has asked the Auckland City Council through the Waiheke Community Board to look at including it in the proposed new library design. The Toy Library currently caters for 65 families and has a waiting list.
