Piemelon Bay is located directly east of Onetangi on the northern coast of the island. The bay is the site of a property belonging to Mainfreight managing director Bruce Plested and there is no public access over land to the beach.
In 2001 a large waterfront home was built, which is sometimes the venue for fundraising events.
