Little Oneroa is a small beach situated at the Eastern end of Oneroa Bay and within walking distance of the Oneroa Village. Well known for its child friendly playgound and free gas barbeques (courtesy of Auckland City), it is a regular gathering spot for both families and visitors to the island.
The nearby Little Oneroa Beach Store is one of the island's few remaining beach stores, which were once icons of seaside life on the island.
Among high profile events held at the beach are the annual Carols by Candlelight. In August, 2007 children's Sunday morning television show WHAT NOW drew hundreds for to the beach for a live broadcast.
