Sol Harris

Sol Harris is a UK born singer-songwriter and musician. He has been living and performing on Waiheke since 2001, and regularly performs a range of original and cover songs in venues on Waiheke Island and across Auckland.

Sol has recently recorded a debut album called 'Lazy Days' - 13 tracks of original songs. It was recorded on Waiheke; at aomahana's "Audio Arts" recording studio (2006 / 07). Sol describes his music and musical style as "relaxing Adult Contemporary / Easy Listening".

New Zealand Musician magazine's review said Lazy Days was "an album of mellow, laid back songs with flowing melodies that utilise Harris' 4-octave, crystal clear voice" Listen to the song preview of "Clarity"

Sol has been taking a break during mid 2008 - early 2009 as he concentrates on bringing up his two young children, along with his wife Sally.
