Piritahi Marae is situated at the western end of Te Huruhi Bay, Blackpool, on the southern coast of Waiheke. A nga hau e wha (pan-cultural) marae, it sits on city council reserve. Tainui whakaeke is observed during powhiri.It comprises a wharenui, currently being carved, a whare kai, a Hauora (Medical centre) and playgroup for preschoolers.
Its chairman is Wally Manahi who took over the reins after the passing of Kato Kauwhata on the 11th november 2007.
