Computer Recycling
is available on Waiheke Island (sponsored by Art@Work Commercial Graphics & Oceanstate Web Design, Ostend)
They are currently taking most computer equipment free of charge, in an attempt to divert as much e-waste as possible from landfills It is planned to repair and rebuild computers from any serviceable components for use by the less privileged, and some will be onsold to help cover the costs of the responsible recycling of the unserviceable components. Data security and destruction is guaranteed. The service will remain free as long as possible.
