Tsunami is a house boat found at the eastern end of Putiki Bay. She is moored alongside another, named Sunflower. There is also a small community of houseboats at Rangihoua Creek
Auckland City has granted permission for existing houseboats on Waiheke. However, no new sites are to be established and any existing boats moved may not return to their site.
