Delicatessen & Cafe in Surfdale stocking a great selection of unique artisan products from New Zealand and around the world including some Waiheke island specialties - Gulf Providore terrine, tapenade & hummus, Rangihoua olive oil, Azzuro Groves olive oil, Kennedy Point olive oil, avocado oil & honey, Ringawera lavosh & Hauraki Gulf ginger beer. They also carry European cheeses, cured meats, fresh restaurant quality meat & Little Boys sausages, Wild Wheat bread, as well as thier own selection of chef prepared goods made on site. They also have the award winning Bian Sushi from Auckland alongside their filled baguettes, cakes & tarts for lunch. Also unique to the island available only at Island Thyme is Supreme Fair Trade organic coffee & organic milk. Their vacuum packed meals are popular, and can simply be re-heated in the bag in a pot of boiling water or out of the bag in the microwave and will keep unopened & refridgerated for at least 10 days.
