Te Toki Reserve
Revision as of 04:24, 30 August 2007 by Hackademic (talk | contribs)
Te Toki Reserve, once the proposed site for football fields that were eventually established in the Onetangi Sports Park, was classifed a recreation reserve in the early 2000s. Its fringe areas were classified a scientific reserve in recognition of their importance and association with the adjacent Okahuiti Wetland. Popular with dog walkers, Te Toki Reserve has views down to Putiki Bay and is home to some magnificent examples of pohutukawa.
