Chris Bailey of Ngati Hako, Ngati Porou, Te Aupouri and Irish descent is an established stone sculptor living on Waiheke.
He is known for his carved timber totems that talk of the traditional Maori history of Waiheke and his monumental basalt stone sculpture that draw on his hertitage for inspiration.
Featured in several books on leading contemporary Maori artists, Chris also exhibits regulary both internationally and nationally.
