Orapiu, located at the eastern end of Waiheke Island, was first subdivided in 1916. It's the largest settlement at the eastern end, has a wharf and is the starting point for the Waiheke Island Wharf to Wharf Fun Run. The famous Blue Heron Lodge is adjacent to the wharf.
