Situated on Le Roy Reserve behine the Old Surfdale Post Office.
The Surfdale Oneroa Progressive Association was formed in the 1920s and set about building the first Surfdale Hall.
It's popularity fordances and socials saw the hall enlarged. Two tenniscourts were added in 1928.
It was demolished in the 60s with a more modern hall built nearby. This in turn was demolished in 1988
The current hall started out as a 20 year old school building. It was officially opened in September 1989.
