Waiheke Community Art Gallery

The Waiheke Community Art Gallery is found at the Artworks cultural centre in Oneroa and is a showcase for art by both island and mainland artists. Its showpiece exhibition is the Waiheke Art Award which each year attracts entries from established and emerging artists from all over Aoteoaroa/New Zealand. Eligible entries must be two-dimensional artworks and the prize is $5000.
The gallery is supported financially by Auckland City and is run by a committee and manager.
Its exhibition space is divided into the Main Gallery and the Small Gallery.
