Sculpture on the Gulf is an outdoor art exhibition run by the Waiheke Community Art Gallery. Attracting entries from top sculptors around the country, the biennial show takes place on a 2km stretch of the Church Bay Walkway.

Sculptors to have entered since it began in 2003 include Virginia King, Para Matchitt, Lyndal Jefferies, Sharonagh Montrose, Denis O'Connor, Paul Dibble and Jeff Thomson.

The inaugural exhibition was won by island artist and Gulf News arts columnist Lyndal Jefferies with her stainless steel and sound sculpture The Cymatic Field.
