Tiritiri Matangi Island

Tiritiri Matangi Island is a conservation project with the goal of being a bird sanctuary. A limited amount of people is allowed to visit the island by ferry per day. The island is situated in the Hauraki Gulf off the Whangaparoa Peninsula.
