Flying Carpet is a Waiheke charter vessel owned by the famous sailing family, the Rhodes. Skippered for some years by the conservation-minded Bernard Rhodes, the 40+ft catamaran was home to the family of four for four years. Bluewater sailing included a trip to Japan.
Flying Carpet has a twin-masted, stayless rig.
These days the boat is skippered by Bernard and Yachio's son Andrew Rhodes.
