An open meeting will be held to discuss the imminent arrival of Waiheke Radio on the island. Points under discussion at this meeting will be: Volunteering, Fundraising, Presentation of shows, Formats and other business. Anyone who would like to be involved in the running of a Community radio station is welcome to attend.

This transmitter will extend coverage of the broadcast to parts of Surfdale, Ostend and Onetangi.
